Sportive Kinross 2013
A DATE FOR YOUR DIARIES!
The 2014 Sportive Kinross will be held on Saturday 26 April with entries opening at midnight on October 1st.
The expectation of Sportive Kinross 2013 was pretty high, after two successful sell out years and with SK2013 selling out the
morning it was opened to riders to register, the organisers had a tall order to meet. Here we will tell the storey of the day.
For those of you who follow the Facebook page you might have seen some discussion about the weather, as the weather leading up
to the event was remarkably poor, (even by Scottish standards) causing the cancellation or postponements of outdoor events in
various part of the country. In the end the rain came the night before as we set up the campus in preparation. As the dawn came
through the wind and rain of the night before vanished like a Vampire would flee the sunlight, the weather was set to be calm,
sunny and warm out of the breeze. In fact we had so much sun we had reports of tan line and even a bit of sunburn after the event!
