KINROSS CYCLING CLUB

Kinross Cycling Club was formed in 2008 and adopted a constitution following its first AGM in March 2009. KCC is affiliated to Scottish Cycling and therefore offer members the benefits of SC membership. There is a membership fee of £10 for a year's membership of the club to help cover the cost of affiliation. The club meets on Saturday and Sunday mornings, every weekend throughout the year leaving from the Loch Leven Community campus. During the summer months, when the evenings are lighter, there is also a Thursday evening TT series. Offroad / gravel rides also feature among our activities. The club has its own web site with full details of all its activities.

We welcome all new members to the club. In order to get the most from your membership you must have a basic knowledge of cycling, be reasonably fit, and a confident road cyclist. If you fancy giving road cycling a go with Kinross Cycling Club you are more than welcome to join the club on a ride, meet the members and find out a wee bit more about us. We normally split into at least 2 groups (often 3) depending on the individual's ability. We also arrange "Give it a go" rides to attract new riders to our club. These rides tend to be shorter and easier routes and are designed for the newcomer to road cycling.
